« Sub rosa » (latin for “under secret”) suggests the confidentiality of the work of textile designers, behind architects, set and fashion designers. Sub Rosa is a four hands studio run by Léa Lacasa and Mopsa Marciano, two textile designers who met during their studies.
Together, they design custom-made textile patterns, prints and ennoblements (any decorative finishes applied to an existing fabric) for interior, scenography and fashion.
« Sub rosa » is also a nod to the hidden value of textile leftovers from industries, which Léa and Mopsa revalue in their practice.

Mopsa graduated from ENSAV la Cambre textile design option in 2015. She worked as a textile ennobler for haute couture at Anne Gelbard, before setting up her textile ennobling atelier in Brussels.
